How well do you know the Bride & The Groom?
AFTER the formalities of the wedding reception, tradition has it that you involve your guests by the Throwing of the Bouquet and the Garter Removal & Toss. If you are looking for alternatives or other ideas we have another game for you.
You will need:
(1) A list of questions & answers compiled by the bride & groom
(2) Two groups of guests (preferably men vs women, bride’s vs groom’s family/friends or any mixture of your choice)
(3) Score Sheet
(4) The Master of Ceremony
The MC should call up guests and arrange them in two groups (about 5 persons each). One group that feels they know the bride and the other that knows the groom very well, maybe you can add someone who knows both in each group.
The MC should have at least 5 questions to ask each group giving them about 30 seconds to answer. At the end of the game the group with the most correct answers wins. Questions may be multiple-choice to make it easier. Questions can be alternated between each group or the MC can ask the question and whichever group knows the answer put up their hand first to respond.
Here is a sample of some questions you can ask. You can add questions as you wish or edit this list where necessary.
What is the bride’s/groom’s favourite food?
What is the bride’s/groom’s middle name?
How long have they known each other?
How long have they been together?
Who is more romantic?
Where did they meet?
Where did they get engaged?
What is their favourite restaurant?
What is their favourite song?
Where was the bride/groom born?
What sport did the bride/groom play?
How tall is the bride/groom?
What is the bride’s/groom’s favourite colour?
Where was their first date?
Who is the better dancer?
Who is the better singer?
Tally the responses and see who's the winner! Don't forget to have some fun prizes.
